We started off at The Big Lock and went along the canal to Croxton park and turned along the rivers towards the main road. The path was a little muddy in places especially as it had been flooded fairly recently. Crossing the A54 we turned into Coalpit Lane, and continued until we reached the canal and walked back to The Big Lock. We had our lunch in the pub - three beetroot falafels, a soup and a roast dinner.
We sat and chatted and planned our walks.
