What glorious weather!!!
We parked on Peel Hall Lane
Kelsall Lane - Ashton Hall
and back to Duck Lane and Shay Lane farm track, muddy in places with deep ruts
Listened to the birds singing
Longley Lane (too misty to see the Welsh hills)
Took the permissable path off the road and went into the field - a sheep had escaped from the field where the sheep and lambs were.
Crossed a field onto Brines Brow Lane then onto Old Lane, took the fork onto Grange Lane.
Sat on stones for lunch,
Went to the end of Grange Lane noisy rooks in the trees, turned left twards Ashton Hays, crossed the road to go across the fields.
Came out at the entrance to Peel Hall - horses - followed the path around the Hall along the road back to the car.
Tarvin - @Number 50 - tea and carrot cake, coffee cake and shortbread.
